Openings and Closings

What I will embrace/ what I will let go

Openings and Closings

As I get older and older I begin to realize-

I am open to possibilities.

I am open to happiness and forgiveness.

I am open to reinventing myself, many times if necessary.

I am open to being tolerant.

I am open to having good health and working on it.

I am open to friendships, old and new.

I am open to movement; my body can speak and write and make music.

I am open to meeting new people.

I am open to confidence.

I am open, so open to reconnecting with family I haven’t seen in 40 years.

I am open to optimism.

I am open to letting go.

I am closed to negativity.

I am closed to lingering sadness.

I am closed to despair.

I am closed to addictions.

I am closed to obsessing about death.

I am closed to worrying about age and ageism.

I am closed to anxiety.

I am closed to failure and feeling like a failure.

I am closed to my expectations for others that don’t match my own.

I am closed to being closed.
